Dr. Amal Subhi Al Mahmoud

Specialist Pediatric Dentist Master's Degree in Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Amal Al Mahmoud was born and raised in Abu Dhabi. She has been practicing dentistry in Abu Dhabi since 2002. Dr. Amal graduated from Ajman University of Science and Technology in 2002. She then obtained her Executive Masters in Healthcare Administration from Zayed University in 2011. In 2017 Dr. Amal completed her Masters program in pediatric dentistry from Mohammed Bin Rashed University. She then obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in pediatric dentistry in 2019.

Dr. Amal was an undergraduate clinical and preclinical instructor at Ajman University from 2002 til 2006. She then moved on to private practice where she practiced general dentistry with special emphasis on endodontics and restorative dentistry. From 2016 Dr. Amal had also been exercising the duties of medical director and manager at a private practice. From 2017 Dr. Amal's focus was on pediatric dentistry. 

Dr. Amal provides her patients with routine and advanced dental services including advanced Endodontics such as endodontic regeneration for immature permanent teeth, surgeries such as exposure of impacted permanent teeth and removal of supernumeraries and advanced restorations such as CAD CAM designed and fabricated inlays, onlays, and full coverage crowns. 

Dr. Amal has 2 publications the first one titled: "Knowledge of management of traumatic dental injuries of emergency department physicians and residents in the United Arab Emirates" and the second one "Non syndromic familial hypodontia-a case series."
