Dr. Haitham Mardini has extensive experience in pedodontics. He has provided dental care for infants, children, and adolescents, including preventive orthodontics tailored for patients. He has managed patients with behavioral issues or disabilities, and has counseled and advised patients and their families on growth and development-related dental concerns. Dr. Mardini has also delivered preventive services through the use of fluoride and sealants, and has educated patients and their families on proper dental care. His treatment methods include the use of oral and inhalation sedation (nitrous oxide) and treatment under general anesthesia.
Dr. Haitham Mardini was raised in Damascus, Syria. He graduated as a general practitioner dentist from Damascus University in 2011 and earned his Master's degree in pediatric dentistry from the same university in 2016. He then completed his Ph.D. in pediatric dentistry at Damascus University in 2021. Dr. Mardini worked for nine years as a pediatric dentist in Damascus and is skilled in performing a wide range of dental treatments, including scaling and periodontal therapy, root canal treatments, crowns and bridges, preventive care, and pediatric treatments.
